SWACO 518 Centrifuge
Removes
light fluids from the drill-hole
after the primary clean; For easy fluids drilling, the solids removal
ratio can be increased through the RPM change, obtaining other
centrifugal forces, managing a particle separation down to 2 microns in
this way : for 1900 RPM with 250 GPM we obtain 6-9 microns particles
and at 3250 RPM 2-3 microns particles.
The wheel
assembly is composed of an cylindrical section with a 353 mm
diameter and 900 mm long of steel and a conical secition with 190 mm
small diameter and 353 mm big diameter, 8.5 degrees conicity and a 560
mm lenght of steel.
SWACO 414
Centrifuge
It
is usually used as a barium recoverer, the
quantity beeing reintroduced in the active sistem of the fluid
circulation; it can be efficiently used for low-density liquid
(removing 5-7 microns particles) as well as for high density particles
(6-10 microns)
The rotating
assembly has almost the same dimensions as the SWACO 518
centrifuge, the difference beeing the lenght of the cylindrical section
which is 300 mm (where the liquids are separated from the solids) . The
rotor generates forces from 500 G's up to 3176 G's at speedes of 1600
RPM respectively 400 RPM at a long operating time. The robustness of
the security sistems that restrain vibrations and torsions (the same as
SWACO 518), minimising the upkeep and maximising the operating time.
